Hey...yeah, oh my gosh...I'm getting old. The only people that might have the foggiest idea of who I am are the Seniors -- who were Freshman back in my final days. Even though I don't know most of you, I still love all of you, becuase you guys are what keeps this wonderful program running! Heck yeah! I loved my CAPA years, and I just came back to peak around a little. I'll do my best to come see The Wizard of Oz! Sounds good guys! Keep up the good work y'all -- I've never been disappointed by a CAPA show! Luvs and hugs to all for keeping the CAPA legacy alive.

One of my sorority sisters stumbled upon this site and sent me a link asking if one of the photos was of me, and low and behold it was! I love it! This site is awesome and brings back awesome memories. This program was amazing and helped me grow and turn into the social person that I am. Keep up the amazing show work. I promise it is worth the time and effort that goes into ever show!

Thank you to all CAPA mentors and
student helpers for making this past week's Arts Camp a most excellent
experience for the elementary students who attended. This year's mentors were
incredible - your expertise and patience were remarkable!! To the seniors who
will be moving on, a special thank-you. Your professionalism and diverse
talents are an inspiration and a beautiful example of what you can achieve and
where you can go if you have the courage to recognize, focus, and believe in
your individual genius.

A hearty congratulations to everyone in High School Musical! Good job to the remarkable Daniel Crosby, who could dribble a basketball and harmonize at the same time, and to Brianna Devlin, who swept the stage in her very first romantic lead. Alexa Kalasz and Michael Hool stole the show's most entertaining toe-tapping numbers, and you could almost audibly hear the swooning from the females in the audience every time Julius Smith had an entrance. Nick Downs was the true comic core of the show, all the while maintaining a strong character integral to the plot of the story. Rumor has it that Taylor Alfano spent weeks before the show observing the nerdy in their natural habitat to gain the essence of her role in the show as, well, Taylor. Kudos to the other terrific supporting characters, as well as Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Murphy, Ms. Sabbagh, Mrs. Hedeen, those lovable ADs Sam Shattuck and Jessica West, as well as the dance captains Tori Haber and Martin Skocelas-Hunter. Although I only got to experience the last week of the show's rehearsal process, I am tremendously grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful cast and crew. I thank all of you involved with the show for the chance perform one last time in a CAPA musical, and my wishes are with Walter and his family for a speedy recovery.

My thanks to the CAPA staff involved in the filming at my home for their professionalism and attentiveness. And, needless to say, the spaghetti and cookies were a delightful coup de nuit for me. My God. They can cook as well as act. Seriously, thank you.

I have been a theater buff for years and appreciate everything CAPA has given us over the years. Gail Susan Mack, you are a superb teacher and an inspiration to all aspiring actors who have the privilege to work with you.
Recently saw Jekyl/Hyde with Ethan Haydeen and was moved to tears over how he portrayed his role with so much passion and talent. You have managed to bring out the best in all of the cast.
Bravo! Diana Hage

Taylor and Ethen, you blew me away with your performances in Jekyll and Hyde! It was a dark and romantic performance from the entire cast and crew. Technically- the show was astounding. The best by far since Les Miserables! Keep up the good work!

Hello, everybody. It's come to my attention that you no longer have the glorious, chaotic, and fun nights known as "Black Boxes." If this is true, than most of you don't even know what you're missing. While I was in CAPA, Black Boxes were the most fun I had on stage. I heartily encourage you to bring them back, if at all possible. If my sources were mistaken, and you all still have these wonderful opportunities to perform, then please disregard my old-man-esque rant, and make the most of what you have.

Hey guys! Just thought I'd say a quick hello, and let you know I still exist. In the middle of the summer, my family moved to Holland, MI (random, I know) so I'm living over here now. I've adjusted well, actually, my school's doing the musical Once Upon a Mattress, and I was cast as the Queen, so I've been keeping busy! I miss you all so much, have an AMAZING season, I'll see you soon!
Much Love,
Lauren

Hey Everyone
I miss you all so much, I thought I'd let you all know what I've been up to lately.
When I moved to Minnesota in June, I took this test and apparently I'm smart because I tested beyond college level. There is a program over here called Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) and I get to go to my first year of college (FOR FREE).. and finish off my last year of high-school at the same time. I am living with my Aunt and Uncle... and new dog ROSCOE he's a German short-hair and he comes up to my waist (He's a Beast). I keep myself pretty busy with school... I miss being able to go and hang out with friends.
I've been looking over the website and It looks like you guys have a great year ahead of you and some awesome shows this year... GOOD LUCK & BREAK A LEG ~~~
LOVE ALWAYS
